Today’s Run:  4.61 mile

For a while now I have been wanting a unique mouse pad.  Something that no-one else would have.  Not a pretty waterfall or a logo from some company that I have never heard of but something very…me.

I mentioned this to my husband a couple of weeks ago and began keeping an eye out for mouse pads.  You know, there are a lot of mouse pads for sale!  And do you know what else?  They are pretty much all the same five pictures.  Boring.  So, my husband says to me, :Why don’t you just make one?”.  Oh!  I did not know you could do that.  Interesting idea.

I began to research mouse pads online and found that it was relatively easy to do.  You pick out a photo, email it in and send them some cash.  Simple.  So, what photo to use?

After a great deal of thought, the only thing that is very unique to me is my dog,  Paxton, aka: Paxton the Destroyer or affectionately, “Bozo”.  So, I selected my favorite pic of Paxton and sent it in.  At first they said it would come in the mail by this coming Friday (Sept. 28).  Then they said that it would arrive by this coming Wednesday (Sept. 26)~that was sounding mighty fine to me.  So imaging my surprise when I got the mail today (Mon. Sept. 24) and Ta-Dah!!! there is was!  Cool Beans!!!
