Curiosity and Boo!

Today’s Run:  5.20 miles

Today has been and day of curiosity and disgruntlement.  Let us look at curiosity first.

Yesterday as we drove into town we noticed a backhoe parked on the curve of our road next to a silo.  Interesting!  Now why was it there and what were they going to do with it?  The backhoe operator had scratched the surface of the ground around the silo so maybe they were going to tear down the silo.  Maybe they were going to plant some more trees (they have a mini tree farm there).  Maybe, maybe, maybe…Curiosity.

That question was answered late this morning when we heard some mechanical noises and crunching sounds coming from the neighbors back yard.  Oh!  They were taking up some old foundation from a mobile home that used to be there!  Good deal!  That foundation was difficult to mow around and it was not very pretty.

Which brings us to the disgruntlement.  Today the Supreme Court made (in my opinion) a very poor decision.  They declared that “Obama Care” was not unconstitutional and was just a tax.  They upheld Obama Care.  Boo!  Enough said.
