Today’s Run:  50 min lifting at the “Y”

I went shopping today.  Twice.

My parents came over today to help with a little ongoing project we have here at the house.  So, while the guys were busy with the project, my Mom and I went to a department store to return a pair of shoes and to shop.  We went with a specific list and did a little power shopping.  We did not want to stay too long because it was almost lunch time and I still had to do some cooking (and I was hungry).

With our list, we found exactly what we wanted.  A green top to match a previously purchased scarf and a black cardigan.  Did you know that a plain ‘ol, little ‘ol black cardigan is hard to find?  But, persistence pays off and we found the green top and the black cardigan.  Success!!!

We went home for lunch victorious.

There is an art supply store in town that I like to frequent.  Every Friday, if you “like” their page on FB before 11:00 am. your name goes into a drawing.  They hold the drawing right at 11:00.  Well, last week I won the drawing~a $50.00 gift card for the store!  Cool Beans!

Seeing as my husband and I needed to take a trip into town this evening, I decided to take advantage of my success as a shopper from earlier in the day and apply it towards my gift card.  So, after running our errand, we stopped by the art supply store and I spent my $50.00.  I know you are dying to know what I got for my $50.00, so I will tell you:

Three tubes of oil paints

One bottle of Liquin

One paint brush

Pretty cool stuff, huh?   So, tomorrow, I might be telling all about the painting I am working on.  We’ll see…
