Today’s Run:  Rest Day

Today was a road trip.  Today was an exciting day.  Today we drove North to the state of Tennessee (TN) and back again.

Earlier this week there was an add on Craigslist for bunnies. I believe that I told you in an earlier blog post that my son wanted a bunny.  He was told to look/call around and collect information and report back to us.  He did.

The bunny he found was in Selmer, TN.  That sounds like a terrible distance but in reality, it is only a 2 1/2 hour drive North from where we live in Mississippi.  That makes for a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon drive.  So, after church, away we went.

There, we met a very nice lady who had brought two bunnies with her.  That way my son could pick which one he wanted.  They were both very cute.  After the introductions and a mini bunny care lesson, we paid her, retrieved the bunny, cage and supplies and headed back South.

Now the bunny is at my sons house leaving a trail behind him (bunny pellets) wherever he goes. I wonder if that is like a trail of bread crumbs…?
