Today’s Run: 3.68 miles
Today was a very interesting day, to put it mildly.
My husband and I did our post race recovery run this morning. We just hobbled around Watson Road and back home again. It was not an easy run. We were sore from Saturday but it needed to be done to work out the kinks. So, the morning started out successfully.
My son came over this afternoon. He planned to stay for dinner so he brought his German homework and we went to the laundry mat together to dry clothes (the dryer is supposed to be fixed on Wednesday!!! Yea!!!). When that was done, we came back to the house. We had just returned to the house and I had put dinner into the oven when his phone rang. Uh-oh!
It was school. Mississippi State University. Montgomery Hall. Cafeteria.
See, back in late August/early September, Castro, my son’s cat went missing. He has been missing all this time. We assumed that he was two dimensional somewhere. We were wrong. He had been living wild on the MSU campus, in the Montgomery Hall Cafeteria. He used to be skinny~he is not skinny anymore. He has been eating quite well, thank you!
So, Castro is now at our house. He cannot stay with my son anymore because he is now the proud owner of a bunny! (remember Loki!?!) Castro and Loki would not work well together.
Our household has grown this evening~by one kitty. See, I told you it was an interesting day!
