My contribution.

MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I are still plugging away at our FM radio station project.  He is trying to get our fundraising page up and running by the end of the week.  We will be going through the Kickstarter program.  We will have thirty (that is 3-0 days!) to raise $15,000.00.  Yikes!  Our page has GOT to be top notch! Go MFH!!!

I am hopeless on those types of projects.  I am too blunt.  I have no tact.  MFH is the epitome of diplomacy.  The fundraising is his baby.

My contribution to the cause…

Presently, I am doing legal stuff.

I am going through contracts with the design people.  They are fussy about their design rights.  The Trademarks.  Rights to the Graphics.  Where you can use their design.  Can I copyright this?

Hey.  If I paid for it.  I want all rights to use it whenever and where ever I want and or/so desire.  End. Of. Discussion.

I think we are getting this all ironed out.  The people with whom I am working seem to be reasonable.  I just sent back their contract with only two changes.  If they agree, then we are a go on getting our designs for incentive gifts!  How awesome is that!

It is my desire to use their design on our web page:  http://www.wmfhlp.org/  and ditch the flat radio pic.  I like the radio pic mainly because it has a lot of my antiques that I have collected around the years.  The pic gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.  It is like an old friend.  Comfortable.

I want new.  Not stodgy.  Colorful!  Fun!!!  Something that says, “Reading is awesome!!!”

I have said that in about those exact words to the design people, too.  I am excited to see what they dream up.

I have never been involved in a project such as this.  We are getting closer and closer to it becoming a reality.  Keep your fingers crossed for us.  We need all the well wishes we can get!!!

On a totally different front…

How in the world to you keep a bunny from eating everything and anything that is not nailed down???

We are babysitting my son’s bunny, Loki.  You have probably heard me talk of this before.  This fuzzy little termite is chewing EVERTHING!!

Yesterday that silly (dumb) rabbit chewed completely through the plugs/wires that go to our deep freeze!  I’m surprised he is still alive!  He HAD to have gotten a shock!!!  We fixed the cable.  Put on a new plug.  Put some sort of insulating material around the cable to discourage his chewing…I am dubious that it will discourage him.

I have side boards all around that back room.  The were (notice past tense?) very sharp angles.  Now they are nicely rounded.  He likes things to be round.  Everything. To. Be. Round.  He is cute!  He is cute.  He is cute.  I am trying to convince myself of this.

I am counting the days until my son returns from his trip.    🙂
