[Yesterday’s run: 3.5 miles]
Our daughter and son-in-law bought us a robot vacuum for Christmas and we’ve been having fun with that. It is called a Deebot. We have it parked in it’s little charger place in the living room and once a day I push the “auto” button and it starts roaming around doing its thing.
We don’t have a lot of square footage, but I think what we do have is a challenge for such a device. I know it picks up a full load of dust and hair every day.
Sometimes I find it stuck under a bed or marooned on the bathroom scale. It will give some plaintive beeps, but if I don’t hear it, eventually it just powers down and waits.
It came with a remote control which means it will probably do a lot of things we don’t have configured. I know it will connect to Wifi, but I’m not sure why a person would want their vacuum connected to Wifi. The remote does help to find it if I miss the beeps: I can hit the button on the remote to make it beep some more.
I like it.
