[Sunday’s run: 3.4 around the lower lake in Loveland; Wednesday: 3.2 on Watson Road]
We flew back from Colorado on Monday. It had turned a bit colder overnight from Sunday to Monday. But we had moved down to a hotel closer to the airport and had no trouble getting the rental car returned and the shuttle to the terminal.
The hotel we stayed at was a cheaper one. Their pictures looked good, but the actual performance was maybe of Super 8 or Motel 6 quality. Maybe even worse in the “free breakfast” department. The room was fairly large. But the furnishings were sparse. And the whole place had a chemical smell like some kind of cleaning solution.
But we survived it.
Anyway, we were somewhat delayed in leaving Denver. But we got to Memphis OK and then had to drive through on and off rain to get home from there. But we made it alright.
