Doing OK

[Yesterday’s run: 7 miles, Rose Garden in Starkville]

This past week was a good one. I feel like I’m starting to get a bit more traction at work, getting almost caught up from the holidays.

On Thursday evening we went and saw the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs basketball team play the Lady Bulldogs from Georgia. Mississippi State won in the end.

I had a telephone interview for an interesting job. I would continue to work remote from my home. We haven’t gotten far enough into it to talk about salary or benefits.

Yesterday I went to the running group in the morning then spent the rest of the day working on the old truck. I changed out the power steering pump and the belt tensioner. The A/C pump clutch is still making a lot of noise but I squirted some oil on it and that quieted it down temporarily.

I’m still piling up things for the hamfest. Today I tried to do some work on a mobile radio that I’d like to sell. I don’t think I’m going to have enough time to get it repaired before the hamfest. So I’ll take it and sell it cheap.

I had some email conversation with a man in West Point about the repeater over there. I don’t know if anything further will come of that little project. I think they may have to cogitate on things for a bit. I offered to help. But they don’t know me. I have plenty of other things I can work on.
