[Today: 3.0 miles – hills in town]
On Wednesday evening there is a group in Columbus that does a regular hill route.
Then on Thursdays there is a track group in Starkville.
Also on some Wednesdays I help with teaching an elementary-age Bible class at the church. I alternate with two other people.
Anyway, the track group takes me at least two weeks of recuperation. And I was there two weeks ago. Last week I was the Bible class teacher. So this week it was hills. I had a good run. I tried to run hard. We do a loop up a big hill 4 times and then a shorter hill one time. But the interval between the trips up the hill changes, getting shorter each time. So the trips up the hill get slower as I tire while the rest between gets shorter. And that last one is the same height gain over about 1/3 the distance of the regular hill. It is an interesting workout.
