While the west and mid-west got a blizzard, here in Mississippi we got a line of rough weather on Saturday morning attended by tornado and flood warnings. We didn’t have any damage that I know of, just a bit of wind and a lot of rain.
Today we are in cooler temperatures but I’m sure the warm weather will be back.

Upon the news I reminisced blizzard of 1973. Snow day digging tunnels in drifts. Was that the year you chopped your toe?
I saw a facebook post that the 73 blizzard was in the spring of 73. I think my toe-chopping was after my 13th birthday which would have been in the fall of 74. Then the summer of 75 I went on RAGBRAI. We had some excitement every year I guess.
