I got an email about an hour ago.
It’s from Amazon, saying they had tried to deliver a package to me but were unable to do so. I got online and looked at the tracking info. It says they left a notice. It is some kind of arrangement between UPS and USPS and there is a UPS tracking number and a USPS tracking number.
I’m not really in a big hurry to get this package. I did order it, but it is not a rush or anything.
So, I’m on hold now with the USPS because I want to tell them their delivery person is telling fibs. He/she didn’t come here and he/she didn’t leave a notice.
I’m a bit disgusted with myself for getting this wrapped up in it. I’m sure they will bring it tomorrow. Or, if not, I can complain to Amazon and get a refund.
I suspect the delivery guy got lost or didn’t want to be driving around in the rain or something like that. They probably checked a box which already says “I left a note” and couldn’t change it to “It’s Friday and I don’t want to be doing this.”
I know exactly how THAT feels!
