[today’s run: 3.5 miles]
My run went well today. I was wearing the new shoes and my new compression shorts and I moved along pretty well. I was happy about that.
We were at the pharmacy the other day and I sat in their BP chair and ran my BP. I thought the numbers were looking pretty good. They seem to want to adjust the expectations over time, so they call me “at risk” these days. I assume that is for being right on the edge of the yellow area on the second reading. At risk of what, I wonder?
My login on the blood donation website has a history of their readings for all the times I have donated blood with them. They even have a chart, which I am not going to bore you with here.
This thing at the pharmacy is called a higi station (www.higi.com) and they want me to create a login and save my readings, etc. etc. I’ve decided not to do that. I put my calories and exercise into myfitnesspal.com. It just seems like a step too far to have this gizmo keeping track of my BP, pulse, weight, etc. No thanks.
