Catching up

[Today’s run: 45 minutes, Sunday: 3.4 miles; Saturday: 5 miles]

I’ve been running a bit more regularly in the last week but I keep forgetting to post.  It was my intention to use this blog as a sort-of running log.  And that would make me run so I could blog, or make me blog when I ran.  I seem to have disconnected a bit.

Ok,  so last week I think I mentioned that we were going to apply for an extension to our construction permit for the radio station.  That came through in a very speedy fashion! We have another 18 months.

I have been working on those antennas I purchased, trying to see if I have the tools to measure and adjust them.  I pretty much came to the conclusion on Saturday that I do not.

I’m doing some traveling this week.  I am in Colorado for most of the week.  But we have a full house at home with people and pets.

This morning I ran west on Harmony from the hotel to the Mason Street bus road and then south on the bike trail.  I came back up S. College to complete a loop of 45 minutes.  I assume it must have been about 3.5 miles.

We’ve had some clearer days here on this trip, a welcome change from the steady rain the last two trips out.

The street department is tearing up the intersection at Horsetooth and Timberline and we have to go through a bit of a bother to get to our normal parking lot.  Instead of it being outside the security boundary, we have to pass through to get in and through again to get to the parking lot.  So we are working with a doubly secure parking area these days.

I’ve been reading a book about how to write poetry.  It really helps me get to sleep at night.  And I watch some TV here, mostly the “velocity” channel.
