The end of the Low Power FM application window happened a week ago yesterday and the FCC has published all of the application data in their system.
The first/next hurdle that we were facing was to find out if any other organization applied for LPFM license such that their application and ours would be in conflict. Once the list of applications came out that issue was cleared up. No conflicting applications!
Now they have marked us “Accepted for Filing“. One thing that does is start a 30 day public comment period. If someone wants to file a “petition to deny”, they have 30 days to do it. Then the FCC would rule on any petition up or down.
I do not know if “Accepted for Filing” implies any approval of the merit of our application itself.
