[Today’s run: nothing]
It has been cloudy and threatening rain for the past two days so no tower work again today.
But I was able (with the good help of my wife and son) to install the segment of hardline between the house and the base of the tower. At that point there is a lightning arrestor. Maybe tomorrow I can get the antenna back up on the tower and get the hardline run up. Then I just have one joint to make and I’ll be back on the air.
There is a VHF contest tomorrow starting at noon. If I can get my antenna work done before the end of the day then I can still do a little operating on Sunday morning.
