[Today: 2.5 chilly miles around the technology park]
It was cold this morning but there wasn’t any frost on the windshield. The air was dryer then early last week.
Now we are in a freeze warning.
Yesterday I covered up the hose bibs on the exterior. I think we should be good.
Somebody long ago had the deck all plumbed out for water, electric, and propane. But the water doesn’t look like it has worked in forever.
Work was a win today. I had bought some LED displays in the same format as the official ones we are ordering from a place in the far east. These don’t have the right connector on them, but we found a way to make them work. The one I had been using was having trouble though.
So I ordered a few more. And today I tried one of the new ones and it worked wonderfully. I am very happy about that. I learned a lot about the various adjustments and configuration options… I had tried them all to see what I was doing wrong. But the default settings were fine all along.
No news from the house-showing that was supposed to happen on Sunday.
Mrs. H. has been posting pictures of her hand on Facebook. She had some trouble with it not healing well after a paper cut and we went to the after hours care on Friday and she got a big shot of antibiotics.
But it really doesn’t look much better. I think it isn’t swelled up so bad. but otherwise still pretty ugly-angry.
So she posted pictures on Facebook from Friday and from today. Everybody is saying she needs to go back in ASAP tomorrow. I agree with that.
