[Today’s run: 5.5 miles]
My Saturday running club appointment in Starkville is in some disarray since the regular venue got shut down.
This morning my wife was aiming to be speedy and I didn’t think I had that in me. So I did a slow 5 miles on one of my old routes: St. Paul’s Church on Robinson Road. It’s been awhile since I went that way. I don’t usually go that far during the week. And when I run with the wife we stick to paved roads, she doesn’t like gravel.
The trees are budding out. We have red buds showing some color and wisteria is just starting to come out.
It was cloudy and I got rained on twice, just sprinkles really. It was about 45 F, so a bit cool with the rain. The gravel was in good shape, well packed.
