[Yesterday 6.5 miles]
I went over to Starkville to run with the Boardtown Runners yesterday morning. I had a nice run, mostly by myself. Some fast people zipped by and I got to say “hi”. That’s a lot better than being on the road all alone.
And back at the house I had a snack and talked awhile.
Then I came home and helped our neighbor with a home improvement project putting up insulation in preparation for drywall. We did that from about noon until 4 PM.
The run in the morning included a bit of a rain storm. Running in the rain can be kind of nice if the temperature isn’t too low and there’s not a lot of wind. In this case I enjoyed it. It was not hard enough to soak my feet but it cooled things down nicely.
I like running in the snow too, as long as it is not too slippery. I would say that running in a quiet show shower is probably the best.
