[Today’s run: rest day ]
I dug this hole about two months ago and it has been sitting full of water for most of the time since. I recently bailed it out. I’ve built a rebar cage. I need to do a bit more digging so the rebar cage fits nicely. Then I need to get some concrete in there before it fills up again.
Right now the hole is roughly 3 ft by 3 ft and 3 ft deep.
I wonder if that puddle at the bottom is really the level of the water table? I guess it might be. That is not necessarily a bad thing. The ground here gets dry and cracks. So if the water table is high enough to keep the bottom of my concrete from suffering with the big cracks that is ok with me.
