Today’s Run:  50 min. lifting at the “Y”

We have been painting the inside of the house over the course of the winter.  I realized today that the winter was, for the most part, over and  the painting was not complete.  Horrors!

The only thing left was the hallway running from the living room, past the laundry area, to our bedroom.  So, I decided, today was the day!  Paint in hand, I began.

Brush work has never been my favorite because it is so tedious.  Up the ladder, down the ladder, move the ladder.  Boring.  Brush around the outlets, do the corners, around the ceiling, almost ready for the roller and “Oh NO!  I’m out of paint!!!!!”  Can you believe it?!? So, tonight I sent the guys to Lowe’s for another gallon of paint and tomorrow I will finish the hallway and it will be beautiful (of course) and we will begin the summer project (an arbor on the south side of the house to block the sun in the afternoon).

There is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to make things look clean and new!  It is worth it!
