We went to #1 Son’s college graduation today!
So many years. So many emotions. So many tears, frustration, anger, struggles, joy…all of it.
So very, very proud!
When they started playing Pomp and Circumstance and I saw #1 Son marching in, I started crying like a baby. I’m just a sentimental old lady I guess.
Looking back at all the incredibly huge hurdles he overcame to reach this day~to successfully complete his Bachelor’s degree~to become a college graduate…
I always knew he COULD do this. Sometimes I wondered if he WOULD do it.
The choice was always his. He definitely had the ability. He is a very talented writer. Journalism is a terrific fit for him!
He looked so handsome in his gown and gold braid with tassels.
I don’t have a pic of him in his cap and gown…yet. I’ll get one! You’d better believe I will!!!
#1 Daughter and her #1 Fiance made the trip from Colorado to see his victory lap across the stage today.
MIL and FIL made the drive from Iowa for the exact same reason.
My parents were there, too!
We all were there because this was a Big. Deal. Thing.
These are my two kids. Together. Adults. Totally and completely amazing people.
I love them with every fiber of my being.
Congratulations!!!
