“I Can See Clearly Now…”

Today’s Run:  Eye Surgery

I had my laser eye surgery today.  It was necessary to follow up on my cataract surgery from August, 2012.  Apparently, a film had grown over my implanted lenses and was obstructing my vision.  Things were getting pretty cloudy and it was time.

So, this morning at 9:00 am I presented my self at the surgery center and waited…and waited…and waited…until 11:30 and then~ta dah!  It was my turn!  Yea!!!

Laser surgery is a lot like an eye exam.  You rest your head on the chin strap and look into the “little round thing”.  After a few unpleasantries, a light comes on and zap, zap, zap and you’re done!  The whole procedure took 20 minutes (both eyes).

And now…”I can see clearly now…”
