[Monday’s run: 3.2 miles (Watson Road)]
Monday evening we went over to Starkville and attended the Mississippi State women’s basketball game against LSU.
We parked by the soccer field for $10 and walked to the basketball arena. That’s not very far. We arrived just after the game started.
We found a couple of really good seats in the upper deck and there were free t-shirts for all attendees, even us in the cheap seats.
Our team was behind by a few points at halftime, then went on a couple of runs in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter they held off a last minute charge by LSU for the win.
LSU was ranked in the top 10 nationally, so that was a pretty sweet win.
I am in no way an expert, but it seemed to me we had a deeper bench, more players able to jump in and make a difference. By the end of the game the LSU players were very tired.
