I was back on the Intel Nuc last night getting it set up as my radio station edit station. It shares the database and the file library of the main server now.
What that means is that I can download more content and then load it into the main server without interrupting what that is doing.
I had this working before on an old laptop. But eventually that laptop kind of died. So I haven’t really added any new content in the last couple of years.
But now I have an editing station and I have more capacity on the main server so I am ready to go.
Just fyi, I think the name of the Nuc is kind of dumb. And it is not obvious how to pronounce it. But I have bigger fish to fry. I would have spelled it Newk if they really wanted that word.
