[Today’s run: 3 miles of hill work in town]
We are working toward a 10K race in Vicksburg, MS coming up in March. With that in mind we drove into Columbus this morning and got in about 3 miles of hilly running.
Columbus is built on a series of ridges which run from the northeast to the southwest. We started out on the top of the ridge and went east a few blocks (and down) then north a block. Then we went back to the west (up over the ridge) then did the same kind of thing a few more times. I think we crossed the ridge four times in total.
It wasn’t the same as running up the hills in Estes Park, but it was a pretty good workout.
