[Runs: pretty much three per week. I think I missed one or two]
I’ve been enjoying my runs. The weather is starting to warm up and the biting flies are starting up again. So we shall see how that goes.
We finally got an offer on our house in Columbus, accepted it, and last week had the closing. We had that place from fall of 2009 to spring of 2026. For about three years of that we rented it out. I hope the people who bought it enjoy living there. One of my next jobs is to find another place for the radio station to live. I have a few months to get that sorted out.
2026 – 2009 I think makes 17 years, almost 17 years. I’m getting old enough that 17 years sounds like a moderately substantial number but it’s not as impressive as it once was. I think that it is the longest term of residence I have had since leaving my parent’s home.
Our cat is 17 years old also, according to my wife. That sounds about right.
I’ve been going back for doctor appointments about every other week. Things are quieting down. I don’t have any activity restrictions and I am pretty close to normal for stamina, I think. I’m set up to work from home into early July and after that I don’t know what schedule I will have or from where. (Working from home is actually fine. I have a good internet service, a VPN to the office, everything I need.)
