[today’s run: 3.2 miles]
I’m down about 15 pounds with my calorie counting. So yes, it really does work for me. And it is not so bad once I get into it.
The downsides are: restaurant meals, limiting my range of foods because I don’t want to have to look things up, and general dislike.
But I’m not really hungry or anything.
The upside is that when I was out for my run this morning and I turned the corner from Watson road onto the downhill part of Evans road I actually had about 100 yards where I felt like a runner. I wasn’t plodding my usual plod. My feet knew what to do and I was tall in form and it all just came together for a little while.
The app I’m using is called Lose It! It has a cool barcode lookup feature that lets me point it at things and get the nutrition info.
