Plugging along

[Watson road (3.25 mi) on 11/19, 22, 24 & 26]

I finished up the Fisher tube amplifier I was working on. I replaced the three big power supply filter capacitors and a couple of other small parts. I had picked up an early 70’s Allied transistorized receiver in a nice walnut cabinet and now I’ve put the Fisher into that cabinet. It is not a perfect fit, but better than no cabinet.

The tubes in the Fisher are a bit tired. I may keep an eye out for some new ones.

I’m slowly arranging my office, getting books on the bookshelf and stuff on the wall. We held off a lot of this because of the flooring. But that is now complete and we can settle in.

Work is going OK.

We had a nice visit in Meridian on Thanksgiving day; ate dinner with our son and took a nice walk with the three of us and the three dogs (his two and our one).
