Throwing things

I’m thinking I would like to take a pottery class this fall. I have always wanted to do some pot throwing.

I did make one bowl when we lived in Columbus. They had a thing at the Mississippi University for Women where people from the community could come and make one bowl. And then they had a sale of the bowls as a charity fundraiser.

The other day I saw a pottery wheel in an on-line sale. And in a different sale there was a kiln. But instead of peeling off cash, I decided to go for a class and see if I want to take it any further.

When you consider the unit volume amortized over the capital cost, I think a class is the way to go.
