Tower concrete

[Today’s run:  nil]

We got the concrete delivered today and poured our tower base and three guy anchors.

The driver was able to back right up to the tower base and slid the stuff right in as slick as can be.  For the guy anchors we used a wheelborrow to transport the stuff and inserted my steel pipe sections.  The anchors ended  sticking up about 6-8 inches, just enough room to get an eyebolt on but not so high as to have a large moment force on the pipe.

I went with the pier-pin base, so there are no bolts in the base block concrete just a steel rod that sticks up about 3 inches.

We will let things cure for a few days.  Then I  will drill for the eyebolts and get my guys measured out for length. I think I will try putting the first three sections up in one go.
