Do run run run

[Saturday: 10 miles run/walk; today: 3.4 miles]

On Saturday I accompanied my wife for 10 miles of her 100K run in Alcoa, Tennessee.

The race was held in a nice series of parkways along the Pistol Creek, so it is called the Pistol Ultra. It was set out as a partial out-and-back route of 10 miles for those doing the 50M and 100M with a bit added on to each loop for those doing the 50K and 100K.

She was allowed to have a pacer on each of the 6 laps. I was the pacer on lap 5 which started at about 8:25 PM and ended around 12:30 AM on Sunday. She finished a bit after 5 AM after 21 hours on her feet. That is a new distance personal record for her.

On Sunday we slept off and on and just hung out in the hotel room. And today we drove back from Tennessee to home.
