[Yesterday: 7.3 miles; today: 30 minutes of rowing]

I’m back to working a little bit on a notification device for the radio station.¬† I have another BeagleBone Black single board computer and I am ordering some sensor devices to attache to it.

I would like to monitor things in the radio transmitter shed and send me emails if something is out of whack.

  1. Internal ambient temperature
  2. Temperature of air exhausting from the transmitter
  3. Signal level (off the air)
  4. Audio level (dead air)
  5. Forward and reverse transmitter power
  6.  others?

I’ve worked on the email notification part and I have that configured.

I will need a serial port to get the forward and reverse power from the serial port of the transmitter.

I will need at least two temperature probes

I will need an FM radio chip device to get my signal level and signal audio level
