[Today’s run: 5 miles]
We have finished our grand tour vacation after putting 3232.2 miles on the car and touching on a dozen states. It is nice to be home.
We had #1 son and his new pup staying at the house while we were gone. He took care of things spectacularly.
The radio station was still running when we returned, even the streaming lash-up was still working.
And the new car performed well, very comfortable. We couldn’t have done this much driving in the old Accord.

I’m glad the car performed as expected. Nice trip!
Your car should last for decades – no rusting in Mississipi. You’re all set for future travels. And there is so much to see and do in this great nation.
Yes, I agree! After living in Colorado and then now in Mississippi, I had forgotten about the rust. But we were right there in the rust belt in WI and MI on our trip. There were a lot of vehicles with serious rust problems. In Colorado the old cars would just dry out. In Mississippi they get swallowed up by the jungle. But in either case you can go back a few years later and get them. In the rust belt they just slowly vanish.
