[Today’s run: ~4 miles]
On our way out to Colorado for Christmas we stopped in Oklahoma City at the airport to pick up an auction item from the FAA facility near the Will Rogers Airport.
I had to go through a sign-in procedure at a small “visitor’s center” and then was directed in to the right warehouse to pick up my thing. It was a pleasant enough experience.
The only other time I have had to do all of that was once when I went up to a NASA facility in Ohio to pick up a cesium frequency standard. I may have posted about that, long ago. This time the item I picked up was an HP 8753C Network Analyzer with 85047A S-Parameter Test Set.
I was only there for about 20 minutes. I don’t know why my parking pass was set to expire a week later.
One reply on “FAA pickup”
Why are they keeping airways safe from the Heartland? I always thought the Heartland was benign.
