Operating from the back porch

[Wednesday: 3.4; Saturday (yesterday): 6 miles]

I haven’t been blogging like I’m supposed to!  Sorry about that.

On the Thursday night 20 meter fox hunt I operated from the back porch.  I strung up a dipole made from two wires and a length of 300-ohm TV-twinlead.  That fed into my BLT antenna tuner.  And I used the Willamette 20 meter transceiver.  I also used my Arizona Scorpion paddles and some ear buds.

It all worked well.  I was able to contact both of the foxes.

And there was a full moon so no artificial light was required.
