DST’s revenge

[Monday: 3.4 miles]

It had been my habit in the last few weeks to go for a short run after dinner a couple of evenings per week, in addition to the morning run on Saturday over in Starkville.

But we switched back from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time on Sunday and that messed me up.  Monday I ran in the dark with two flashlights.  And, frankly, I don’t feel like doing that again tonight so I probably won’t run at all.  The dark just came too fast.

I’m going to have to get into winter running mode.  That means I run at lunch time or just some break time during the day.  When I worked at the office in Colorado I would frequently go out about 10:30 in the morning.  That seemed to be about the right time for me.  Since I’m working remotely, I don’t think people care when I do it as long as I answer the phone when they call.
