I really should take the time to learn more about radio propagation.
After the large sunspot about 10 days ago it seemed like the noise level on HF bands went up for a while . Then one morning after that I was hearing VKs and ZLs coming though wonderfully.
This morning I slept a bit later than usual so I missed the early stuff on 40. I hear quite a bit on 20, the usual european stuff.
All in all, I’d say the sunspot cycle is starting to come back nicely. I really want to get my tribander up in the next few months.
