[Today’s run: 1 mile with the dog]
On our recent trip we had a tour of the New Belgium Brewery in Ft. Collins, CO.
I am not a beer drinker, or a drinker at all really. And a lot of this tour involved tasting all of the different kinds of beer that they make. Not surprising. If you were a beer drinker and you took a tour of a brewery you would want: samples of beer.
But I did enjoy seeing the factory and what they do.
They are a very successful business and have grown to be the third largest small brewery. (They had a better way of putting that… the third largest of the “specialty brewerys”? I don’t remember.) … I looked in up in Wikipedia: The third largest _craft_ brewery behind Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevada.
Anyway, here is a picture of some of their brewing equipment. The metal circles hanging down are sculpture made of rims of bicycle wheels.
