We’ve been doing OK. I am filling out job applications online. So far I’ve made it to a few first level screenings and one in-person interview, but no offers.
They extended my work through the end of June.
We have had a recent spate of hospital activity. Father-in-law was in three different times for about a week each. He is home again now and seems to be on the mend. Wife was in for a few days for digestion trouble and she is doing much better now.
We have continued to get a lot of rain. June has just been a bit less wet than May. The grass is just jumping out of the ground.
Our brick-pillar mailbox thing has a pvc tube for a newspaper delivery. A local snake has decided he likes that space. Apparently there is enough room at the end of the tube such that he can slither into the hollow spaces of the pillar. But we frequently see him peeking out of the tube. I am hoping to scare him off before the mailman sees him and then refuses to deliver our mail.
