We had the city electrical inspector come out toward the end of the week and give our garage electrification project the once-over. He approved. He told me I needed to get GFIs as the first outlet in each outlet circuit, then take a picture and send it to him. And after doing that we could consider ourselves done. I’ve got that done.
Yesterday I cut the line to the porch light, and rerouted that circuit to the new sub-panel. Today I got everything cleaned up and I installed a light over the bench in the far dark corner. There is an actual switch, on the wall, right there. I can turn the bench light on/off/on/off as many times as I want.
