[Today’s run: 6.5 miles, S. Grandview to Mt Carmel and back]
Dubuque is an interesting town. This area seems to have more than it’s fair share of convents, seminaries and universities. A lot of it is R.C. but there is also a Lutheran seminary and a Presbyterian one.
The somewhat ironic part is that there are no churches of the same type as that I grew up in, nor where I attended in Colorado, nor what we attended in Mississippi.
I’m not sure what to make of all that.
We’ve been attending an interesting place and the preaching has been good. I think we will stick with it for awhile and see how it goes.
