[Today’s run: 3.4 miles Watson Road]
I’ve been running Watson Road off and on for nearly 10 years. It is my go-to running route. I go down our road to Evans; take a right on Evans; go about 1/4 mile to Watson and turn right again. It is maybe a mile to the end of Watson, the last little bit is on gravel under arching trees, just the remains of a road really, ending at a gate. There is a widow-maker dead tree which I try not to linger at; hasn’t fallen on me yet. Then back the same way to home.
We’ve been boxing and sorting and cleaning and other various things. I took some scrap metal and a couple of old gel-cell batteries to the scrap yard today. I’m looking for a place that will take a couple of old computer servers that aren’t worth anything.
