The hardest part of any radio/electronics project is putting the thing in a box.
For my recently completed SS-40 transceiver I have a box that I think will work very well.
It is one of those two-piece extrusion things, one piece is the top and one is the bottom. I will need to cut it to the right length and make two flat end pieces which have holes in them for the knobs and such. And I will probably also need to glue a couple of bumpers on the bottom of the board to keep it from banging around inside and let it slide in/out as necessary.
