Old pictures of RMNP

[Today’s run:  eat and rest day.  I’m going to have to get out tomorrow or turn in my runner Id card.]

The first time I visited Rocky Mountain National Park I must have been about 8.  Our family of 6 slept in a floorless tent.  We stayed in the Moraine Park Campground.  We ate at the picnic table where my mother cooked for us on a two-burner coleman stove.  I don’t remember any rain, which is good!

Soon we had a pop-up camper.  We went to RMNP most summers for a week, sometimes two.  It was a lot of fun.

Usually on Wednesday we would go into town and do some shopping while my mother did the laundry.

Somewhere along the line I picked up this little spiral bound book of mini-post card pictures. Here are a few of the pictures. I’ll post the rest later.
