Today’s run:  Sitting in the car for 11 hours

Today has been a hurry up and sit day.  We have traveled from Hayes, Kansas to Hardy, Arkansas.  Eleven hours of sitting in the car.

Before we started this little endeavor, we knew that we would be a car caravan of two vehicles.  Communication between the two cars was a concern.  We solved this problem with a pair of cheap walkie-talkies.  That is probably some of the best money we have spent in a long time.  We have only lost one once because I was sitting on it.  Silly me.

Tomorrow is the last planned day of out trip.  According to Google Maps, we have five hours and six minutes of travel time.  So we are having a nice quiet evening watching reruns of the Lawrence Welk Show!
