Chess.com

[Today’s run: 3.2 miles]

In the last few months I’ve been playing some chess on chess.com. I do it anonymously, meaning I don’t have an account, user name, password, etc.

The downside of not having an account is that it does not keep track of my games and give me a rating. But that is also an upside. Some days I am really bad and other days I do ok. With no stored history I can just come back the next day with a clean record.

I had a friend in late elementary school who was a chess wizard. His name was Richard Kelly. I would go over to his house and get trounced at chess for hours at a time. After doing that for awhile, we graduated to middle school and for some reason I didn’t go over there as much. And later I went to a different school and completely lost track of Richard Kelly.
