Statue

[Today’s run: 3 miles]

We had a little walk this evening. We went north and west over by Dubuque High. They had a sign at the track/field saying they allow public access except when the facility is busy. That’s pretty cool. So now I have another place to practice!

Also they have a big statue of a football player. The plaque said that it is of Jay Berwanger, a graduate of Dubuque High who is also the first winner of the Heisman Trophy.
