My coworker and I needed a way for him to watch me do some work. We have had some experience with GoToMeeting and other such systems.
I really didn’t need to have him drive my mouse and keyboard, just see the screen.
I found that Skype has that ability. To lessen the load on the home network, I did not use video on my end but he did. So he could hear me and see my screen while I could hear and see him. It worked out pretty well.
And it was free.
