Today’s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n
I have a major case of TB Syndrome. \u00a0For those of you who do not know what that is, it means Tired Butt Syndrome. \u00a0We did a bit of a drive yesterday (14 hours) and my\u00a0derriere\u00a0is feeling the effects.<\/p>\n
We drive a 2010 Honda Accord. \u00a0I do not think the previous owner did much travelling and therefore, I, in the passenger seat, am chartering new territory in breaking in that seat. \u00a0It is unforgiving. \u00a0We stopped at a Cabela’s to purchase a little pillow on which I could sit and that helped quite a bit, but before the day was done, I was taking Advil for my\u00a0pa toot. \u00a0Pretty lame, I know.<\/p>\n
The drive itself was lovely. \u00a0We left the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, drove through the sand dunes of Nebraska, through the corn fields of Iowa into the town of Des Moines. \u00a0A lot of change in scenery in one day. \u00a0Lots of things to see and enjoy.<\/p>\n
We enjoy a nice drive~we just have to do something about that car seat.<\/p>\n
Today will be a day to recover and then it is off again. \u00a0More things to discover. \u00a0Maybe stop at an Amish Dairy in Tennessee for some yummy cheese and salami to nibble on as we travel. \u00a0Cannot wait!<\/p>\n
